Use EchoMom Widgets on iPhone

Add EchoMom widgets to your iPhone for quick care logs, and use the nursing timer on the Lock Screen when it is available.

Quick reference

  • Platform: iOS
  • Options: helper widget, quick actions widget, nursing Live Activity
  • Best for: Lock Screen and home-screen access on iPhone

1 Step 1

Add the EchoMom widgets

EchoMom includes a helper widget and a quick actions widget. The helper widget opens EchoMom chat, while the quick actions widget helps record common care moments.

  1. 1 Long-press the iPhone home screen and add a widget.
  2. 2 Choose EchoMom.
  3. 3 Place the helper widget, the quick actions widget, or both.

2 Step 2

Use quick actions from the widget

The quick actions widget uses the buttons you set up for the selected child, so the home screen matches the routine in the app.

  1. 1 Open EchoMom and select the child.
  2. 2 Confirm the quick action slots fit the care routine.
  3. 3 Tap a widget action to open EchoMom and log the event.

3 Step 3

Track nursing with Live Activity

When a nursing session is active, EchoMom can show a Live Activity. That means the timer can appear on the Lock Screen and on supported Dynamic Island devices.

  1. 1 Start a nursing session in EchoMom.
  2. 2 Lock the phone or leave the app.
  3. 3 Use the Live Activity to reopen EchoMom or act on the session when available.

Live Activity availability depends on your iPhone and settings. If it does not appear, the in-app timer and widgets still work.
